1089) I’ve had a tough time coming to terms with my insecurities about my age (started transition at 28), and why I waited so long to transition… I know I’m proud of who I am, and most things that I’ve done in my life up to this point. I love being a parent, I love my daughter so much. But I feel like such a frakking shit sometimes when I wish I had started transitioning earlier, because my beautiful little girl never would have known life if I had.

  1. i-am-river said: I think we all have experienced this. I didn’t start till I was thirty-four. A sobering thought for me is for a long time trans women didn’t transition until their late forties or fifties.
