1324) I sometimes wonder if, when I go in for hormone treatment like I plan to when I turn 18 this next year, the doctor is going to say I’m not a woman. That they’re going to laugh at me and send me home and deny me my treatment. I’ve basically just accepted myself as a woman, and my mom didn’t believe me when I told her— what if the doctor doesn’t?

Any doctor worth their salt is going to listen to you and help you make your own path. Look into ‘Informed Consent’. No doctor in this field would laugh. You WILL be ok, I promise!
