1327) In many respects, I’m quite a typically “girly” girl, and I like quite typically “girly” things. For myself, and many other MTFs, makeup, poofy dresses, and the colour pink, can be the cause of much excitement - not least because we’ve been denied these things our whole lives. However, I feel like on this blog, and in other MTF spaces, we all too often get caught up in this excitement, and in turn alienate many of our gender non-conforming sisters, by reinforcing these notions of “femininity”.
