1508) Earlier this summer, my parents set up an appointment at Johns Hobkins to get a serious assessment of my gender dysphoria issues. It’s not until late October. Late. Fucking. October. And even after I do that bullshit to confirm in their minds that this is real, I’m probably still going to have to wait a couple more months to get on hormones. Fuck my life.

  7. lilypadjames said: in the UK you have to wait about a year or so until you can even be referred to a gender identity clinic. Then you might have to do a year of “Real Life Experience” dressing as your desired gender, with absolutely no HRT.
